The decision to kiss for the first time is the most crucial in any love story, it changes the relationship of two people much more strongly than even the final surrender. Because this kiss already has within it that surrender." It's easier to raise a strong child/children ; than it is to repair a broken adult. Poetry; Our deepest fear is not that we're inadequate, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure ; it is our light not our darkness that most frightens us and your playing small does not serve the world there is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you, we we're all meant to shine as children do, it's not just in some of us it's in everyone and as we let our own light shine we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same, and as we are liberated from our own fears our presence automatically liberates others from theirs. People need people and friends need friends and we all need love for a full life depends, not on vast riches or great acclaim not on success or worldly fame, but just in knowing that someone cares and holds us close in their though...Expand for more
ts and their prayers for only the knowledge that we're understood makes everyday of living feel wonderfully good, and we rob ourselves of lifes greatest need when we lock-up our hearts and fail to heed the out stretched reaching to find a kindred spirit who's heart and mind are lonely and longing to somehow share our dreams and our sorrows and make us aware, that lifes completeness and richness depends on the things we share with our loved ones and friends. Friendship is a priceless gift that can not be bought or sold, and it's value is far greater than a mountain made of gold, for gold is cold and lifeless, it can neither hear nor see and in times of trouble it is powerless to cheer,it has no ears to listen no heart to understand, it can not bring you comfort or reach out a helping hand. So when you ask for a gift be thankful not for riches, pearls, & gold, but the love of real true friends. Love/marriage is giving someone the power to destroy you, but trusting that they won't. My high school years really were not that great for me. I didn't have a lot of friends, I hung out with too many losers, and I guess looking back and knowing then what I know now would've & could've done lots of things differently, but who could've. Anyway, I did have some great friends who I cherish to this day. There was Frank (Mickey) Wright, Sherry Kelly, Mike Kelly, Brian Kelly, and few others I really have a lot of Respect for, even if Mickey almost broke his fist on my face a time or two, I probably deserved it. I ended up leaving school w/o graduating and joined the U.S.Marine Corp. for awhile, where I thought I was a Bad Ass, started drinking to excess doing drugs to excess, (after all it was the 70's), left the Marines came home, kept being a party animal until I was 46 years old. So for 30 years I went from a Bad Ass to just an (ass). Now, in the passed 10 years or so I've been trying to make better choices and be a stand up kinda guy, so there you have it folks my life in short.
